Dog trainer Kang Hyung-wook, who faced allegations of employee abuse, has been cleared of charges.

On the 23rd, Kang Hyung-wook stated on Instagram, "Something happened to me last May. Fortunately, I received the news two weeks ago that I was cleared of charges, and I was so happy."

In May of last year, a former employee of his company, Bodum Company, revealed on social media that they had experienced abuse, humiliation, and workplace bullying from Kang Hyung-wook during their employment, sparking controversy. Kang Hyung-wook later denied the allegations through YouTube.

The Cyber Investigation Unit of the Northern Gyeonggi Police Agency announced on the 5th that they had decided not to pursue charges against Kang Hyung-wook and his wife, Susan Elder, who were accused of violating the Information and Communications Network Act.

Kang Hyung-wook expressed, "I am very sorry, and I feel really sorry that something happened right in the middle of last year's dog trekking event, which I love so much, causing me to miss it," adding, "I feel very regretful and I apologize to the guardians and dogs who came all the way to Jeongseon."

He also announced that a similar event is scheduled for this May, saying, "This time, I will take all the photos, give autographs, and provide consultations. I will do anything for you," and added, "Don't we all love walking? Our wish is to walk freely from morning till evening. Let's make sure to walk together from morning till evening when we meet then."
