Kim Ji-hye, a former member of the group Cats, who confessed to her infertility, and Choi Seong-wook, a member of the group Paran, have announced that they are expecting twins.
On the 23rd, Kim Ji-hye posted on her SNS, “I have been selected as a twin mom. I didn’t expect anything because the blood test results weren’t high, but it’s truly a blessing,” along with an ultrasound photo. She continued, “I prayed a lot for twins because I’m older and I’m using IVF. I have nothing more to wish for. I am so, so happy,” expressing her joy.
The names of the two babies are Baeko and Yorong. Kim Ji-hye explained the reason for the names, saying, “On the day of the egg retrieval, I had a dream about a white tiger, and on the night of the implantation, my husband had a dream about a snake.” She added, “I have become the mother of Baeko and Yorong. Let’s grow up healthy and meet,” once again expressing her happiness.
Meanwhile, Kim Ji-hye married musical actor Choi Seong-wook (Ace) from Paran in 2019. In 2023, Kim Ji-hye revealed on SNS, “I am preparing for pregnancy,” and stated, “It has already been 4 years since I couldn’t get pregnant, but I will try hard by visiting an infertility clinic.”
On the 11th, she announced her pregnancy news, saying, “Everyone, the IVF was successful. We are finally becoming mom and dad.”
