The fandom of the group NJZ (New Jeans), known as Bunnies, is submitting a petition to the court.
On the 24th, Team Bunnies posted on Instagram, "Following the signature petition for the provisional injunction in May 2024, we are preparing a second petition that reflects the feelings of the fandom Bunnies."
They further explained, "The purpose of this petition is to accurately inform and explain to the court that HYBE and ADOR are still working hard to obstruct NJZ."
Fans plan to submit the petition in three ways: an online signature petition, a handwritten petition, and a global petition for international fans.
Team Bunnies stated, "Along with the three types of petitions, we will also submit various materials to the court, including articles, legal opinions from several professional lawyers in the 'Legal Advisory Opinion', the full text of the statements issued by Team Bunnies so far, and the 'Notification of Investigation Progress from (Seoul Yongsan Police Station)'," and encouraged participation from Bunnies.
The petition they released states, "We are very sorry that the former agency ADOR has filed a provisional injunction to maintain its status as an agency and to prohibit the signing of advertising contracts against the members," and "As fans who have been concerned and worried about this situation more than anyone else, we believe it is necessary to inform the court of the truth, which is why we are submitting this petition."
Additionally, through various points, they claimed, "HYBE and ADOR have been harassing the members with public relations and reverse viral marketing," "HYBE and ADOR have ruined New Jeans," "HYBE (Chairman Bang Si-hyuk) has intentionally discriminated against the members, and this hostile environment is unlikely to change," "As fans, we support and encourage the termination of the members' exclusive contracts," "We are concerned about the financial and mental suffering the members may experience if the provisional injunction is granted," and "ADOR has not hesitated to engage in illegal acts of leaking the members' personal information and continues malicious public opinion warfare."
Fans added, "We do not want the members' musical challenges and journeys to be interrupted by external factors," and "We sincerely hope that the court will make a wise decision to dismiss ADOR's petition."
