Singer Song Ga-in's new song 'Asadal' has been selected as the recommended new song of the month by Idol Chart.
Song Ga-in's 'Gain;Dal', released on the 11th, is her 4th full-length album released after approximately 2 years and 10 months. It includes a total of 9 tracks, featuring double title songs 'Asadal' and 'Tears Fall', produced by Shim Soo-bong, as well as 'Lifetime', which she wrote herself. The album showcases various genres, including traditional trot, which represents Song Ga-in, and trot ballads, offering a glimpse of a new side of her.
This album achieved sales of 18,636 copies within just 2 days of its release, setting the record for the highest initial sales among female trot singers in history. This is approximately double the previous record for first-week sales.
Meanwhile, Idol Chart selects recommended new songs each month from newly released albums through music industry experts and music journalists. The music videos of the selected artists are broadcasted on billboards located in Seodaemun and Myeongdong.
