Singer Song Ga-in has graced the cover of a magazine.
After releasing her 4th regular album 'Gain; Moon' in three years, Song Ga-in's photoshoot with 'Woman Sense' has been revealed.
In a concurrent interview, when asked about the significance of this 4th album to her, she said, "'Gain; Moon' album places greater emphasis on singing compared to previous albums. We focused a lot on creating a jacket image that could encapsulate the album's message and the recording process. I didn't want to miss any details during the recording. There were many emotional aspects to consider, so I had to pay attention to a lot of details, and I think I worked harder than usual to not overlook those parts," expressing her dedication and affection in the album's production.
The title track 'Tears Are Falling' has garnered attention as it features the legendary singer Shim Soo-bong in its production.
Regarding the process of having a living legend involved, she shared, "I visited the teacher because I wanted to receive a song from her. Coincidentally, she was also thinking that she should give songs to her juniors rather than sing them herself. She thought, 'I've sung enough until now, so it's time to write songs and share them with my juniors.' When I first met her, the song was still incomplete. Then she played the keyboard and sang a rough version. After hearing that, I practiced and met her again for several lessons. She also participated in the recording. During the recording, I asked her to do the chorus, and she gladly agreed," expressing her gratitude and honor towards Shim Soo-bong.
In response to the feedback that 'Tears Are Falling' has a very different vocal style from what she has shown before, she said, "It's a song with a completely different vocal style. The teacher kept saying, 'Relax your voice.' Since I've mainly sung powerful songs until now, it wasn't easy to relax my voice. It was really driving me crazy. (laughs) I thought, 'Can I really sing this song?' 'Should I just give up?' 'Should I just say I can't sing it?' It was that difficult. The vocal style was challenging, and the rhythm wasn't easy either. There was no way but to sing hard. I practiced to death every night. I even practiced while showering. I listened to 'Tears Are Falling' until it stuck in my ears and practiced. As I kept doing that, I was able to do it," revealing that it was a challenge to adopt a new vocal style.

Song Ga-in set a new record for first-week sales among female trot singers just two days after the release of her 4th album.
Song Ga-in stated, "Since I've experienced being number one, it's hard not to be ambitious. There are times when I think I want to be number one in everything. However, I don't dwell too much on those numbers. Just because I am ambitious doesn't mean things will go as I wish; luck also plays a role. It's good to be number one, but if it doesn't happen, it can't be helped. So I always keep my mind at ease," sharing her thoughts.
When asked about her future plans, she said, "I plan to work harder on my YouTube channel content. First, I am planning to visit singing classes across the country to give lessons on my songs and select talented individuals to award them. I wanted to try something that other singers don't do, and I think it would be fun to teach my songs directly in singing classes. I believe that will lead to more people singing my songs," revealing her intention to present more diverse content in the future.
