Broadcaster Park Soo-hong and Kim Da-ye have donated 33 million won for couples struggling with infertility.
On the 7th, at Ewha Womans University Medical Center in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, the couple held a donation ceremony, where they donated 30 million won directly to the medical center and requested that 3 million won be used for the maternity ward.
The couple expressed their desire to "help, even in a small way," for couples who are currently trying to conceive precious lives.
Park Soo-hong stated, "The Ewha Womans University Medical Center supported us in every way until we welcomed our baby. It was really tough, but thanks to the dedication of the medical staff, we were able to persevere until the end. Additionally, many people we met during the infertility treatment process cheered us on. I wanted to express my gratitude to all of them with this small gesture."
The couple has shared their testing and treatment process on their personal YouTube channel to support many couples struggling with infertility. At that time, they expressed their intention to donate all YouTube earnings generated from this to society.
Park Soo-hong added, "We have contributed a little more to the total YouTube channel earnings for 2024. My wife has been managing the channel for four years, editing while sacrificing her sleep, and thanks to the support of many people, we are gradually growing," promising continued donations and good deeds.
