Actor Kim Soo-hyun's side has announced legal action against Gaseyeon.
On the 10th, Kim Soo-hyun's agency Gold Medalist released an official statement saying, "The claims made by Gaseyeon regarding actor Kim Soo-hyun through their YouTube broadcast are clearly false."
They continued, "Gaseyeon has made malicious claims against us and actor Kim Soo-hyun, alleging that we colluded with YouTuber Lee Jin-ho to harass the late actress Kim Sae-ron, claiming that Kim Sae-ron dated Kim Soo-hyun from the age of 15, that the agency's response to Kim Sae-ron's drunk driving incident was inappropriate, and that our agency's manager has a close relationship with YouTuber Lee Jin-ho. All of these are falsehoods that cannot be overlooked, and we are considering the strongest legal action possible against Gaseyeon for spreading these falsehoods."
They added, "We feel deep sorrow at the news of the passing of the late actress Kim Sae-ron, who once worked with us, and we mourn her. However, the dissemination of such falsehoods by Gaseyeon is a repetition of the so-called 'cyber bullying' that the deceased struggled with during her life, and it not only harms our agency but also tarnishes the reputation of the deceased for their own benefit. We will respond sternly to this." They urged, "We sincerely request that these baseless falsehoods are no longer spread, expanded, or reproduced."
