The police reported that there were no signs of external intrusion or criminal activity, and they requested an autopsy from the National Forensic Service to determine the exact cause of death. Initially, Wheesung's family planned to hold a quiet funeral among themselves, but they set up a mourning room on the 14th to give those who loved him a chance to say their final goodbyes.
The mourning room saw a continuous flow of visitors, including KCM, god's Kim Tae-woo, Lee Young-hyun, Mighty Mouth, ICHILLIN', Song Baek-kyung from One Time, and Lee Hee-jin and Shim Eun-jin from Baby Vox, who were close friends of the deceased. Additionally, Naul, Zico, Park Jung-hyun, Lee Hyun-do, and groups like BTS and TWICE sent wreaths to express their condolences.
The late Wheesung, who became a star in the sky, will rest in peace at the Gwangneung Memorial Park.
