Park Hyung-sik, who found the memory of 'Treasure Island', risked his life for revenge.

According to Nielsen Korea, the 7th episode of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Treasure Island' (written by Lee Myung-hee / directed by Jin Chang-kyu / produced by Studio S, A2Z Entertainment, Purmir Workshop), which aired on the 14th, recorded a nationwide rating of 10.9% and 10.4% in the metropolitan area, ranking first in its time slot and among Friday-Saturday dramas.

In this episode, Seo Dong-joo (played by Park Hyung-sik), who witnessed the death of his only sister, began to regain his memory in shock and launched a full-scale counterattack against the villain Yeom Jang-seon (played by Heo Joon-ho), who caused his sister's death. The psychological battle between Seo Dong-joo and Yeom Jang-seon exploded, holding the viewers in suspense.

On this day, Yeom Jang-seon shamelessly appeared in front of Seo Dong-joo, who was guarding the funeral of his sister, Sister Agnes (played by Han Ji-hye). Yeom Jang-seon pretended to comfort Seo Dong-joo with a sad expression, but his real purpose was to check whether Seo Dong-joo had regained his memory in shock. Seo Dong-joo, pretending that his memory had not returned in front of Yeom Jang-seon, meticulously began his revenge.

While Yeom Jang-seon was at the funeral home, Seo Dong-joo pretended to sleep for a moment and slipped out of the funeral home to abduct Jo Yang-chun (played by Kim Gi-mu), who killed his sister. This news soon reached Yeom Jang-seon. Just then, as if it were a promise, Seo Dong-joo reappeared at the funeral home. At that moment, the sharp gazes of Seo Dong-joo and Yeom Jang-seon crossed. The meticulous battle of wits between the two men had begun.

Seo Dong-joo's counterattack continued. Although he still pretended that his memory had not fully returned, he revealed that he remembered the secret safe number of the Dae-san Group's chairman Cha Gang-cheon (played by Woo Hyun) and the slush fund. This tightened the grip on Heo Il-do (played by Lee Hae-young), who hoped that Seo Dong-joo would not regain his memory. At the same time, Seo Dong-joo followed Yeom Jang-seon and identified the connection between Yeom Jang-seon and the elder (played by Choi Kwang-il).

Yeom Jang-seon felt great anger at the very existence of Seo Dong-joo, who was trying to manipulate him, even if he set aside the 2 trillion won. He resolved to kill Seo Dong-joo without fail. However, as if to mock this, Seo Dong-joo visited Yeom Jang-seon under the pretext of Dae-san Group business. He also left Jo Yang-chun's ring, which had been burned, in front of Yeom Jang-seon.

Enraged, Yeom Jang-seon grabbed a gun and charged at Seo Dong-joo, shouting, "You thief! Your head is worth my 2 trillion won!" In an instant, Seo Dong-joo snatched the gun and aimed it at Yeom Jang-seon's head, retorting, "What the hell is this crazy old man babbling about?" He then, still claiming to have no memory, aimed the gun at his own head, exhausted. If Seo Dong-joo really died, the 2 trillion won would also vanish. Ultimately, Yeom Jang-seon knelt before Seo Dong-joo, begging, "I was wrong." It was a complete defeat for Yeom Jang-seon in the psychological battle.

This defeat drove Yeom Jang-seon into a frenzy. He sent a thread containing cinnamon to Yeon Eun-nam (played by Hong Hwa-yeon). Since Seo Dong-joo has a cinnamon allergy, if he does not eat the thread, it means he is faking amnesia. Knowing this, Seo Dong-joo still ate the thread. He was risking his life for revenge. In the end, Seo Dong-joo collapsed.

The scene of Heo Il-do looking down at the collapsed Seo Dong-joo, Yeom Jang-seon, who orchestrated all of this, and Seo Dong-joo once again facing a death crisis intersected, concluding the 7th episode of 'Treasure Island.'

In the 7th episode of 'Treasure Island', Seo Dong-joo, who found his memory, began a full-scale counterattack, raising the immersion of the drama. In particular, the scene where Seo Dong-joo and Yeom Jang-seon faced each other with guns drawn was filled with explosive tension.
