Clone member Koo Jun-yup has said his eternal farewell to his late wife, Taiwanese actress Seo Hee-won.
According to local media such as ET Today on the 15th, Seo Hee-won's farewell funeral was held at Jinbao Mountain in Taiwan.
Family members, including Koo Jun-yup, Seo Hee-won's mother, younger sister, and her two children, attended the ceremony, bidding farewell to Seo Hee-won in heavy rain. Koo Jun-yup was reported to have moved the urn of the deceased while shedding tears in the pouring rain.
Initially, Seo Hee-won's family stated, “She expressed a desire for an eco-friendly tree burial during her lifetime,” but Koo Jun-yup expressed a wish for “an independent space where he can visit his wife anytime,” leading to a discussion with the family and a decision to change the burial location. Jinbao Mountain is one of the most famous cemeteries in Taiwan, where many renowned stars, including Teresa Teng, Coco Lee, and Lee Moon-sae, are laid to rest.
Previously, Seo Hee-won passed away on the 2nd of last month due to pneumonia caused by the flu while on a trip to Japan with her family.
It is reported that the legacy left by Seo Hee-won is inherited equally by her husband, singer Koo Jun-yup, and her two minor children, each receiving one-third. However, since Seo Hee-won's children are still minors, their share will be managed by their biological father, Wang So-bi, until they turn 18.
Seo Hee-won married Wang So-bi in 2011 but divorced after 10 years in 2021. During her marriage to Wang So-bi, she gave birth to a daughter (10) and a son (8). She reunited with Koo Jun-yup after more than 20 years and married him in 2022, having a brief marriage that lasted three years.
