The family of the late Kim Sae-ron has mentioned the person referred to as 'aunt' and warned Kim Soo-hyun's side.
On the afternoon of the 17th, lawyer Bujiseok, representing Kim Sae-ron's family, submitted a complaint against YouTuber Lee Jin-ho for defamation based on false facts at the Seoul Police Agency. Present at the scene were the deputy lawyer, Kim Se-yi, the representative of the Garoseoro Research Institute, and Professor Kwon Young-chan, who conveyed their position.
On that day, Professor Kwon expressed his frustration regarding Kim Soo-hyun's stance that Kim Sae-ron's aunt is "not a biological aunt," stating, "That aunt is more like a real mother than her mom. Kim Sae-ron confided in and sought advice from that aunt because she was worried about her parents. The biological aunt has been helping with all of Kim Sae-ron's moving and taking care of her mom. I was angry that they diminished the truth by referring to the biological aunt as just a friend of the mom. That aunt has been responsible for Kim Sae-ron for 20 years. She shared things with that aunt that she couldn't tell her mom."
He continued, "Please do not touch the family. The family members who are worried are Kim Sae-ron's two younger siblings. Both dreamed of becoming actors, but one sibling gave up after seeing her sister's tragic fate," adding, "I don't know about the other sibling."
Previously, the agency sent a first notice regarding the repayment of 700 million won for broadcasting penalties and accident compensation shortly after Kim Sae-ron's drunk driving incident. It is reported that the late Kim Sae-ron felt pressured and sought help from Kim Soo-hyun, who claimed to be in a romantic relationship with her at the time.
The family of Kim Sae-ron is demanding an official apology from Kim Soo-hyun's side, mentioning the six-year romantic relationship between Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun through the Garoseoro Research Institute. This is because Kim Soo-hyun's agency repaid the 700 million won but later sent a notice. Along with Kim Soo-hyun, YouTuber Lee Jin-ho from the channel 'Entertainment Behind the President' has also claimed to have continuously harassed Kim Sae-ron through multiple videos.
In relation to this, Kim Soo-hyun's side initially denied the dating rumors but later stated that they had been in a relationship for about a year after Kim Sae-ron became an adult as the revelations continued.
