The controversy surrounding actor Kim Soo-hyun has spilled over to 'Good Day'. In the midst of this, G-Dragon seems to have acknowledged the fans' anxiety by sharing a bright smile and the “It's okay” meme.

On the 19th, G-Dragon released a short video on his Instagram story. The video shows G-Dragon smiling cheerfully. It appears that he is trying to alleviate fans' concerns through the popular 'It's okay' meme on social media.

The timing of the video is particularly noteworthy as it was released while G-Dragon's MBC variety show 'Good Day' is facing backlash due to the controversy surrounding cast member Kim Soo-hyun. 'Good Day' is a music project where G-Dragon collaborates with various figures to complete the song of the year. It is the first fixed variety show for G-Dragon after returning with a new song, and it marks the return of PD Kim Tae-ho to MBC after leaving in 2022, drawing significant attention.

With Kim Soo-hyun's connections, the group 88z (Hwang Kwang-hee, Lee Soo-hyuk, Jung Hae-in, Im Si-wan, G-Dragon) was formed, making Kim Soo-hyun a main member of the program. However, after Kim Soo-hyun became embroiled in various controversies related to his private life and the tragic passing of the late Kim Sae-ron, 'Good Day' also faced repercussions.

In relation to this, on the 13th, a social media account conducted a poll on whether Kim Soo-hyun should leave 'Good Day', and G-Dragon expressed his feelings indirectly by liking the post. However, after this fact became known, G-Dragon unliked the post.

As the controversy continued, the production team of 'Good Day' stated on the 17th, “We recognize the seriousness of the controversy and are continuing production while prioritizing viewer reactions,” and announced, “We have decided to edit out as much of Kim Soo-hyun's appearances as possible.”
