Syu, a former member of the group S.E.S, revealed the recent success of her business.

On the 18th, Syu posted on her SNS, "It has been 6 months since I became fascinated with a plant called Centella Asiatica. I was worried, but it has been such happy days. In the end, I was almost living in Cheonan, going back and forth between the farm, office, and warehouse."

Syu shared, "Looking back, it’s true that I wasn’t always happy over the past few years. I always wanted to show a wonderful side of myself, but it never went as I wished. However, I was really happy to have something to focus on while developing and launching the product."

She continued, "Creating 'healthy food' was a unique experience for someone who just liked plants vaguely. And within just a week of the launch, 50,000 units were sold out. I felt like I 'did it', and I was so happy," adding, "It's all thanks to everyone. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude once again to those who believed in me."

Syu was indicted for habitual gambling amounting to about 790 million won from August 2016 to May 2018 in places like Macau, receiving a sentence of 6 months in prison, 2 years of probation, and 80 hours of community service. She also borrowed about 400 million won but was sued for failing to repay it. This was settled through mediation in November 2020.

After a period of reflection, Syu returned as an internet broadcaster (BJ) and recently announced her venture into business.
