Singer KCM (real name Kang Chang-mo, 43) and Jinwook (32) have confessed late that they are fathers of two children.
On the 19th, it was reported that KCM has two daughters with his wife A, who is nine years younger, whom he married four years ago.
According to KCM's agency A2Z Entertainment, he had his first daughter in 2012 and his second daughter in 2022, the year after they registered their marriage.
The couple could not hold a wedding ceremony when they were expecting their first child due to financial difficulties, and it was reported that they only registered their marriage in 2021 due to the impact of COVID-19.
The agency stated, “Despite difficult circumstances, KCM has been struggling to raise his daughters and maintain his family,” and asked for support, saying, “He is currently living happily with his two daughters and his mother.”
Before KCM, Jinwook, who is from the trot audition program 'Mr. Trot 2', also revealed that he is a father. He shared that his girlfriend, who is a civilian, gave birth to a child a year ago, and he decided to start a family to take responsibility for the precious life.
Jinwook said, “It was entirely my fault that I could not tell you this fact due to a brief thought that I might never stand on stage again,” and added, “I sincerely apologize for not meeting expectations and for disappointing you with my thoughtless behavior. I will learn and reflect more.”
He mentioned that he is currently waiting for the birth of his second child, saying, “I earnestly ask that you refrain from further speculation, as baseless rumors are harming my family, whom I must protect, and the company that has supported me,” and added, “I promise to live with more responsibility in the future.”
