A group that threatened to leak private photos after accidentally obtaining a famous singer's mobile phone has been caught by the police.
According to police reports on the 19th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul arrested two men on the 17th at around 7 PM for threatening singer A and demanding 500 million won in cash.
It is known that they committed the crime after accidentally acquiring a mobile phone that A had used in the past.
Upon learning of the situation, A's agency immediately reported it to the police, and the suspects were arrested in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province, within a week.
The police have applied for arrest warrants for these individuals and are currently tracking down one additional accomplice involved in the crime.
