Actress Cha Joo-young met with the fashion magazine 'Elle'. Unlike the regal presence she displayed in 'Queen Jeongsun', she wore Tory Burch clothing that day, showcasing a lovely and mystical charm as if she had just stepped out of a fairy tale.

Having recently completed the grand journey of 'Queen Jeongsun', she said, "This is the first time I've been unable to let go of a project like this (laughs). Even thinking about it now brings up strong emotions. It was my first time portraying a woman who is historically symbolic, and I was afraid that no matter how I tried, it would only look like imitation. But at some point, I found myself immersed in the role. Just as Queen Jeongsun said to Lee Bang-won, 'You have worked hard as a king,' I want to convey to Queen Jeongsun, 'You have worked hard to live'."

She is set to showcase a completely different character as 'Dami', the wife of a golf course representative, in her upcoming screen debut 'Lobby'. She expressed, "As soon as you sit in the theater, you'll feel what kind of character Dami is (laughs). Working with director Ha Jung-woo, who has a unique genre expression, and the talented cast was fascinating. I was very curious about the set, and going to the set felt like going on a fun trip. I eagerly watched the performances of my seniors."

Regarding the women she admires, Cha Joo-young shared, "I admire those who are not overly self-absorbed and exude an authentic atmosphere. I find it impressive when someone quietly shows themselves rather than adding various explanations to their own things."

She mentioned that being an actor is the only job she chose for herself, stating, "Although there have been trials and errors, the fact that I have come this far is a great achievement and choice. However, I still feel fear and anxiety, and I think I will continue to do so. I will have to invest a lot of thought and time into my next project, and I will always approach the set with a sense of curiosity."

Cha Joo-young's photoshoot and interview can be found in the April issue of Elle and on the Elle website. YouTube content will also be released soon on the Elle YouTube channel.
