The brother of the late singer and actress Sulli has posted a cryptic message.
On the 21st, Sulli's brother, Choi, wrote on his social media account, "Mr. Kim has a lot to say but can't. You will fall from a high place, so hold tight."
Some netizens speculated that the "Mr. Kim" mentioned in the post refers to actor Kim Soo-hyun, who has been embroiled in allegations of dating a minor, as Sulli and Kim Soo-hyun previously worked together in the movie "Real."
When comments from netizens presumed to be Kim Soo-hyun's fans appeared on the post, Choi responded, "How can fans be of no help? I didn't even mention the name Soo-hyun, yet you all rush in. You must be going crazy because you can't fact-check. I've lived for years with the thought that 'Well, it couldn't be helped' without any new fact-checking."
He continued, "Even if it's not me, there will be a lot of trouble everywhere," adding, "I won't talk about it, and even if I do, it won't be a fact anyway, nor will it help you. Don't scratch unnecessarily and just pass by."
Choi also posted on the 22nd, "Is the word fan like a secret royal inspector's badge? Where are the fans in this situation? To me, they all look like kids being torn apart."
The YouTube channel "Garoseoro Research Institute" (hereafter "Gaseyeon") claimed on the 10th that Kim Soo-hyun dated Kim Sae-ron, who was 15 years old at the time, for six years, citing statements from Kim Sae-ron's family, and released private photos. In response, Kim Soo-hyun's side refuted that while they did date, it was only after Kim Sae-ron became an adult.
The family filed a defamation lawsuit against YouTuber B, who had posted videos related to the late Kim Sae-ron, for spreading false information. The YouTuber also announced legal action against A, who claimed to be "Kim Sae-ron's aunt." Kim Soo-hyun's agency also reported the release of private photos to the family and Gaseyeon.
