Actor Kim Soo-hyun's fan meeting in Taiwan has been canceled.
On the 25th, the organizing team from Taiwan's Seven Eleven announced the cancellation of Kim Soo-hyun's schedule through their official account. The organizers stated, "We apologize for the inconvenience caused to the members as Kim Soo-hyun will not be able to attend the fan meeting due to schedule adjustments."
Ticket refunds will also be processed.
Initially, Kim Soo-hyun was scheduled to attend a cherry blossom festival event and fan meeting hosted by Seven Eleven in Kaohsiung on the 30th.
Meanwhile, the local event organizers monitored the situation regarding the recent controversy surrounding Kim Soo-hyun and his alleged relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron, but ultimately, he was unable to participate.
Previously, there were reports in the industry that if the event were to be canceled, the penalty fee would be 30 million TWD (approximately 1.32 billion KRW).
Due to this controversy, Kim Soo-hyun's participation in the upcoming Disney Plus original series 'Knock Off' has also become uncertain. The 'Knock Off' team recently announced that they would postpone the release. Additionally, he was edited out of the MBC variety show 'Good Day' in which he appeared.
