Singer Lee Seung-hwan has called for the impeachment ruling of President Yoon Suk-yeol.
On the 25th, Lee Seung-hwan posted on social media, "I urge the Constitutional Court to make a swift ruling." He added, "I hope you will think rightly and do the right thing, and I will sing 'Do the right thing.' I will see you on Thursday, March 27th at 7 PM at Anguk-dong intersection."
Previously, Lee Seung-hwan expressed his support for the impeachment of President Yoon Suk-yeol. He performed at a rally urging impeachment in front of the National Assembly in Yeouido, Seoul, on December 13th last year.
Currently, the Constitutional Court has not set a date for the ruling on President Yoon's impeachment trial, continuing the longest deliberation period among past presidential cases. If more than six of the eight sitting justices approve the impeachment motion, President Yoon will be removed from office.
