The family of the late Kim Sae-ron will hold a press conference on the 27th.
On the 26th, Bu Ji-seok, the legal representative of Kim Sae-ron's family from the law firm Bu-yu, announced that a press conference will be held at 1:30 PM at a location in Seocho-gu, Seoul.
During the conference, the lawyer will reveal materials that can confirm the timeline of the relationship between Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun, and announce their legal response plan against the indiscriminate spread of false information about Kim Sae-ron's family.
On the 10th, the YouTube channel Garoseoro Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as Gaseyeon) quoted statements from Kim Sae-ron's family, claiming that Kim Soo-hyun had been in a relationship with Kim Sae-ron, who was 15 years old in 2015, for six years. In response, Kim Soo-hyun's side acknowledged the relationship but refuted that they only started dating after Kim Sae-ron became an adult.
After Gaseyeon released private photos of Kim Soo-hyun, his side filed a complaint against Gaseyeon and unidentified individuals claiming to be Kim Sae-ron's family and her aunt for violations of the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes (distribution of filmed materials using cameras, etc.). They also filed additional charges against Gaseyeon for threats.
