
Actor Park Jin-young has joined the donation movement to support wildfire victims.
On the 26th, the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association announced that Park Jin-young donated a total of 50 million won for the support of wildfire victims and firefighters.
Park Jin-young stated, "I felt heavy-hearted hearing the stories of firefighters who are working tirelessly day and night at the scene of the wildfire, and I decided to donate to contribute even a small amount of help."
With this donation, Park Jin-young has achieved a cumulative donation of 100 million won and has been appointed as a member of the 'Hope Bridge Honors Club,' a group of high-value individual donors.
Shin Hoon, Secretary-General of Hope Bridge, said, "Park Jin-young's donation is a warm gesture towards the affected residents and on-site personnel," and added, "We will responsibly ensure that this precious intention is used meaningfully at the scene."
Hope Bridge is currently providing emergency relief supplies to the wildfire-affected areas in Uiseong-gun, Gyeongbuk, and Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam. They are operating relief vehicles such as laundry support vehicles and mental recovery buses at temporary shelters.
Singer and actress IU, Suzy, actress Hyeri, and singers Jang Min-ho and Lee Chan-won are also making donations to support the recovery from the wildfire damage, spreading positive influence.
