Actor Byun Woo-seok's side has denied his departure from 'The 21st Century Great Prince's Wife.'
Byun Woo-seok's agency, Baro Entertainment, stated on the 28th to Maeil Business Star Today, "Byun Woo-seok will appear in 'The 21st Century Great Prince's Wife' as scheduled. The departure is not true."
On the same day, a media outlet reported that IU and Byun Woo-seok would be leaving 'The 21st Century Great Prince's Wife' together. As this drama is considered one of the highly anticipated works from MBC, the news of the two lead actors leaving together attracted significant attention.
'The 21st Century Great Prince's Wife' is set in a constitutional monarchy in the 21st century Republic of Korea. It depicts the romance of a woman, Seong Hee-joo (played by IU), who is frustrated because she is a commoner despite being a wealthy conglomerate, and a man, Lee An-dae-gun (played by Byun Woo-seok), who is the son of a king but can possess nothing, leading to a sad love story that breaks social class barriers.
