The late Sulli's biological brother urged actor Kim Soo-hyun, his cousin and representative of his agency, and the director of the movie 'Real', Lee Sa-rang (Irobe), to respond regarding his sister's bed scenes.
On the 28th, the bereaved family released a statement saying, "We have spent the last six years in deep sorrow and tears, but we have felt deep gratitude for the support and consideration of many people," and added, "We could not ignore the death of the late Kim Sae-ron as if it were not our business."
The bereaved family continued, regarding the movie 'Real' (2017) in which Kim Soo-hyun and the late Sulli participated, "According to the production team of the film, there were no specific details about the bed scene in the script at that time, and there was a body double. We want to know why they did not use the body double and instead pressured the deceased to film."
'Real' was directed by Lee Sa-rang (Irobe), a cousin of Kim Soo-hyun who co-founded the agency Gold Medalist, and it drew attention for Sulli's high-level exposure performance.
Prior to this, the late Sulli's brother posted a meaningful message on his SNS account saying, "It's been six years since I lost my sister, and for six years, you have been a plaything. I hope you don't break too quickly in the six years to come."
One netizen commented on this post, "Don't you remember what was reported in an article in 2020? Should I link it? If you don't have solid evidence, isn't it inappropriate to post such things? You said yourself that you haven't been in contact with your sister for a long time."
The late Sulli's brother replied, "I avoided contact out of betrayal while filming 'Truth Shop 2' in 2018, but before that, we were doing well. Did you not think that it was already in progress when you were worried?"
He then expressed hostility towards Kim Soo-hyun in response to a comment that said, "Is your intention to make the public imagine that something happened between Sulli and Kim Soo-hyun?" by saying, "It's not what I wish for, but it's true, isn't it? It was indeed a harm during her lifetime, right?"
Additionally, he left a post without a subject saying "Sadist." When a netizen asked, "Real??", he replied, "Sadist in Real." 'Sadist' refers to a person with tendencies of sadism, which is a sexual desire that derives pleasure from inflicting physical or mental pain on a sexual object.
On the 21st, he also posted, "Mr. Kim has a lot to say but can't. Hold on tight, as it will fall from a high place," leading to speculation that he was targeting Kim Soo-hyun at that time. In response to a comment asking, "Is the initial SH?", he replied with a 'heart' emoji.
As criticism from fans poured in, on the 22nd, he posted, "How can the so-called fans be of no help? I didn't even mention the name Soo-hyun, but you all came rushing in... You must be going crazy because you can't fact-check, right? I've been living with the thought that 'Well, it couldn't be helped' for years... It's somewhat helpful for me to live with a clear mind."
Meanwhile, the late Sulli, who debuted in 2009 as a member of the idol group f(x), received great love for her music and acting activities but passed away on October 25, 2019, at the age of 25.
Kim Soo-hyun is currently embroiled in allegations of having dated the late Kim Sae-ron for six years when she was a minor. Kim Soo-hyun's side has countered, saying, "It is true that they were former lovers, but they met after she became an adult."
<Below is the full statement from the late Sulli's family>
Hello, we are the family of Sulli.
We apologize for the disorganized nature of this writing.
And we sincerely wish for the repose of the late Kim Sae-ron's soul.
We have spent the last six years in deep sorrow and tears, but we have felt deep gratitude for the support and consideration of many people.
Therefore, we could not ignore the death of the late Kim Sae-ron as if it were not our business.
We express our deepest condolences to the family of the late Kim Sae-ron.
During Sulli's funeral in 2019, we heard some questionable information.
It was regarding the bed scene during the filming of the movie 'Real' in 2017.
Since it is not well known externally, we cannot know the exact facts, but there was a body double, and the body double who was said to be unable to come due to illness was actually present on set.
Now that the individuals from that time are no longer available, it is difficult to ascertain the truth, but we would like to hear the positions of Kim Soo-hyun and the director at that time, Lee Sa-rang (Irobe).
1. I heard from the staff and actors at the funeral that the bed scene between the late Sulli and Kim Soo-hyun was not originally specified in the script. I would like to hear Kim Soo-hyun's position on this.
2. I understand that there was a body double for Sulli's nude scene during filming, and that body double was present on set. I would like to ask why they did not use the body double and instead persuaded Sulli to film the bed scene and nude scene.
3. Initially, it was said that the body double could not come because they were ill on the day of filming the bed scene and nude scene, but according to testimonies from attendees at the funeral, the body double was present on set. Is this true?
In addition to this, we received a lot of news at Sulli's funeral, but I am only asking these three questions based on facts, so I hope for an active response.
Once again, I sincerely comfort the late Kim Sae-ron and her family.
