Actors Cha In-pyo and Shin Ae-ra have generously donated to support wildfire victims.

On the 29th, the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association announced that the couple donated 100 million won for the recovery of wildfire-affected areas in Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan.

The donation will be used for emergency relief, provision of daily necessities, and operation of temporary shelters for residents in the wildfire-affected areas such as Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam.

The couple stated, "We send our deepest condolences to those affected by the wildfires," adding, "The mountains may have burned, but hope has not. You are not alone. Stay strong," as a message to Hope Bridge.

With this donation, Cha In-pyo and Shin Ae-ra have been appointed as members of the 'Hope Bridge Honors Club,' a group of high-value individual donors, and they have committed to further supporting disaster-affected neighbors and vulnerable groups in the future, while promoting a culture of giving.

Meanwhile, since the 21st, wildfires in the Yeongnam region, including Sancheong in Gyeongnam and Uiseong in Gyeongbuk, have resulted in casualties and numerous evacuees.

Currently, the Ministry of Health and Welfare has expanded the operation of the initial disaster response team due to the ongoing dry weather and strong winds that have caused the wildfires to spread, resulting in many casualties and evacuees, and has established an emergency response team that includes relevant departments.
