The concert of singer G-Dragon was delayed for over an hour, with the agency stating it was due to "safety reasons."
On the 30th, G-Dragon's agency, Galaxy Corporation, released an official statement saying, "We would like to address the delay regarding the 'G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch] IN KOREA' that took place on the 29th," and explained, "The performance was initially delayed due to adverse weather conditions (strong winds) for safety reasons, and as a result, it was delayed once more."
The agency stated, "This was due to the sudden drop in temperature to below freezing before the performance, along with heavy snow and rain that started in the morning, followed by strong winds in the afternoon," and added, "G-Dragon monitored the weather conditions at the venue all day, including a soundcheck at 2 PM."
They continued, "Despite this, we took measures for safety reasons to prevent any harm to the audience while utilizing the scheduled stage equipment. We also expressed our apologies at the concert venue, and we would like to once again thank and apologize to the fans who waited in the cold for a long time."
G-Dragon held the 2025 World Tour 'Übermensch' on the 29th at the Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province. The concert was originally scheduled to start at 6:30 PM, but the event organizer, Coupang Play, announced that "the performance time has been changed due to adverse weather conditions. The main performance will start at 7 PM," causing a delay. However, without further explanation, the concert was delayed and eventually started around 7:40 PM, approximately 70 minutes later than scheduled.
