Comedian Shim Hyun-seop revealed that he gave all the appearance fee from ‘The Love Fool of Joseon’ to his fiancée.
On the 31st, Shim Hyun-seop and Park Jun-hyung appeared on the YouTube channel ‘Jjanhan Hyung Shin Dong-yeob’.
On that day, Shin Dong-yeob asked Shim Hyun-seop, “What has your fiancée fallen for you about?” Shim Hyun-seop replied, “When we first met, she asked me, ‘How do you eat?’ and I said, ‘I haven’t been able to cook well lately.’ She said, ‘I don’t know what will happen between us, but I definitely want to treat you to a meal at home.’ I don’t know if it was out of sympathy or if she felt sorry for me. She said I looked pitiful.”
He continued, “It’s not a lot, but I gave her all the appearance fee from ‘The Love Fool of Joseon’. Then she said she would buy me a piece of clothing, and when I said, ‘I’ll buy it myself,’ she told me she hadn’t spent any of the appearance fee I gave her. My mom said that too. Also, we communicate really well, and even though there’s an 11-year age difference, she feels like an older sister.”
