'Poksak Sogassuda' Kang Yuseok did it.

As the Netflix series 'Poksak Sogassuda' continues to generate buzz with the release of its final episode, praise is pouring in for Kang Yuseok, who perfectly portrayed the main narrative of Act 4.

Kang Yuseok appears as Eunmyeong, the second son of Aesoon (played by Moon So-ri) and Gwan-sik (played by Park Hae-jun), and the younger brother of Geum-myeong (played by IU), showcasing a completely different charm from his model student sister, drawing interest. He gradually revealed Eunmyeong's hidden wounds through justified rebellion, enriching the drama.

In the early part of Act 4, Kang Yuseok centered the story from Eunmyeong's perspective. Eunmyeong (played by Kang Yuseok) ended up in a detention center after taking the blame for a friend's crime while they were running a pawn shop together. In this dire situation, he expressed the wounds he received from the discrimination against him by his sister for the first time, evoking sympathy as he resented Aesoon and Gwan-sik. During this process, Eunmyeong's plan to earn a lot of money in a different way than Geum-myeong to repay his parents' love was revealed, stirring emotions.

Later, Eunmyeong secretly started selling sweet rice cakes to reclaim his father's lost belly. Gwan-sik, who heard about this from Hyun-sook (played by Lee Soo-kyung), bought sweet rice cakes with his own money and distributed them to the apartment residents to encourage Eunmyeong.

Realizing all the facts, Eunmyeong boarded a deep-sea fishing boat to make big money but was caught by Gwan-sik and Buseong-gil (played by Choi Dae-hoon), becoming central to the key developments. Through this, Eunmyeong and his parents rediscovered the importance of each other.

The father-son relationship between Eunmyeong and Gwan-sik brought tears to the viewers' eyes. After being discharged, Eunmyeong secretly wiped away tears while seeing his noticeably thinner father, and he belatedly realized Gwan-sik's boundless love for him.

Kang Yuseok immersed himself in the character of Eunmyeong, delicately expressing complex emotions that resonated with the audience. His excellent control of pacing shone through, leaving a heavy aftertaste in the living rooms.

From his resemblance to his father Gwan-sik and mother Aesoon to the realistic sibling chemistry he created with his sister Geum-myeong, Kang Yuseok vividly portrayed the charm of the Eunmyeong character, eliciting laughter. Furthermore, the quirky love story with Hyun-sook, who formed one of the pillars of the drama, added to the fun that couldn't be missed.

Eunmyeong's narrative as a 'growing character' who gradually feels the weight of being the head of the family and grows, garnered support from viewers, leading to affection for the character.

Combining humor and seriousness appropriately, Kang Yuseok created another life character in Yang Eunmyeong and continues his active career. Kang Yuseok will appear in tvN's 'Someday, Wise Resident Life' and 'Seocho-dong,' which will premiere on the 12th.
