Former health trainer and broadcaster Yang Chi-seung, despite being in a difficult situation after being scammed, has donated 10 million won for wildfire recovery efforts.

The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced on the 1st that Yang Chi-seung has donated 10 million won to aid in wildfire recovery.

Yang Chi-seung stated, “It’s a tough time, but I wanted to help those who are facing even greater difficulties,” and added, “I have been donating quietly in the past, but I had to pause for personal reasons last year. Seeing the current wildfire situation has motivated me to refocus, and I want to live more diligently with the goal of donating 10 billion won in the future.”

The donation from Yang Chi-seung will be used for practical recovery activities such as emergency livelihood support for residents in wildfire-affected areas like Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam, providing relief supplies, and operating temporary shelters.

Yang Chi-seung is well-known as a health trainer for stars like BTS's Jin, actor Kim Woo-bin, and Sung-hoon. He has appeared in various television programs such as MBC's "I Live Alone" and KBS 2TV's "Boss's Ears are Donkey Ears." He previously revealed that he suffered losses of several hundred million won due to a gym lease scam last year.
