This season, when flowers are in full bloom, resembles the flourishing singer Enok. The singer Enok, who shines on both trot and musical stages, graced the cover of the April issue of 'Woman Sense'.
Enok, who ranked third in the fierce competition to determine the best trot singer representing South Korea, wrote a dramatic narrative from being last in the semifinals to first in the finals. We met Enok, who proved his skills without being swayed by evaluations.
When asked about the episodes of the audition program that concluded successfully, Enok said, "I started with great enthusiasm. Having experienced competition through 'Burning Trotman', I thought I could handle it as if I were walking a similar path. However, as the competition time approached, I became more anxious. It's scarier the second time you ride a roller coaster than the first, right? The challenge of 'Current King of Singers 2' was like that," he shared his feelings.
"I had an enlightening experience while working with the best current singers. When your eyes and ears are opened, it feels like you grow a step. Things that were not visible become visible, and things that were not heard become audible, leading to realizations. In that sense, participating in two audition programs was exhausting but a time without regrets."
Despite a busy broadcasting schedule, his love for musicals was exceptional. "I felt a sense of responsibility because I wanted to do well. The character I played in the musical 'Mata Hari' needed to convey youth and required vocal changes, so thorough preparation was necessary. It requires meticulous preparation and a lot of effort, but every time I stand on stage as a musical actor, I feel great," he expressed his affection for musicals.
Enok's love for his fans is remarkable. "My fans are my driving force. I must not forget that I have come this far thanks to them. I take the feelings my fans send me seriously. There are many reasons I need to live hard, but the weight of my fans is the greatest. I want to be a singer who is not ashamed of the support I receive. So, when I meet my fans, I ask them to tell me how hard they work to support me. It’s only natural that I work as hard as they do," he revealed the strong bond with his fans.
Enok, who has been running non-stop from 'Burning Trotman' to 'Current King of Singers 2'. When asked about his future plans, he said, "These days, I am preparing strategies for the next page. For about three years, from the time I prepared for the 'Burning Trotman' competition until now, I have poured everything I have. I am currently reviewing and implementing things I couldn't take care of while focusing on what was in front of me. Personally, I am managing my physical strength through exercise. I am spending time that I couldn't have while running until now. I plan to prepare for the next step systematically to become a better version of myself," he shared his aspirations for the path ahead.
The photo shoot and interview capturing the blooming singer Enok, like flowers blossoming in spring, will be available in the April issue of 'Woman Sense' after March 22, both online and offline.
