The press call for the play ‘Pink Lipstick’ has been canceled. This is because the date of the press call coincides with the Constitutional Court's verdict date on President Yoon Suk-yeol's impeachment trial.
On the 2nd, the production company of the play ‘Pink Lipstick’ announced, “We regret to inform you that the press call originally scheduled for the 4th at 2 PM has been inevitably canceled due to the presidential impeachment trial verdict scheduled for the same day at 11 AM.”
The production company added, “We believe that the press environment on that day will not be conducive due to this important social issue, and we have made this decision as we judged that it would be difficult to proceed with the event smoothly, so we ask for your understanding.”
‘Pink Lipstick’ is a creative premiere that tells the story of a mother-in-law suffering from dementia and her daughter-in-law. It depicts the process of the daughter-in-law understanding and forgiving her mother-in-law, who had subjected her to harsh treatment.
The cast includes Jung Hye-sun, Park Jung-soo (as Kang Hae-ok), Song Sun-mi, Lee Tae-ran (as Lee Ji-young), Jung Chan, Gong Jeong-hwan (as Kim Hyun-wook), Kim Soo-yeon, Lim Seong-eon (as Kim Tae-ri), Jung Dae-seong, Lee Shin-hyung (as Kim Min-woo), Lee Soo-yeon, Han Sol (as Choi Ha-ni), among others.
The play will be performed from the 4th to May 11th at the KT&G Sangsangmadang Daechi Art Hall.
