Rapper Noel (real name Jang Yong-jun) bids farewell to his late father, the former People Power Party member Jang Je-won.

At 8:30 AM on the 4th, a funeral service for the late former member Jang Je-won will be held at the Busan Haeundae Baek Hospital funeral hall.

According to police, former member Jang Je-won was found dead in an officetel in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, at 11:40 PM on March 31. A suicide note believed to be written by him was found at the scene.

Noel, the son of the deceased, remained at the funeral home wearing mourning clothes and an armband to greet visitors as soon as the mourning hall was set up. It is reported that he shed tears upon seeing some of the mourners.

On the 1st, Noel shared his feelings in a post on a KakaoTalk open chat room where fans had gathered, saying, "I thought for a long time about whether it was right to say this, and then I wrote it."

As comments of concern poured in, Noel responded, "Of course, how could I be okay, but please don't worry too much about me," adding, "It's okay not to say things like 'how can I understand this.' I will send him off well and return."

Former member Jang Je-won was under police investigation for allegedly committing sexual violence (quasi-rape causing injury) against his secretary A in November 2015 while serving as the vice president of a university in Busan. Initially, the accuser A's side planned to hold a press conference to reveal the background of the accusation, but they canceled it upon hearing the news of Jang's death.

The former member will be laid to rest at the Siloam Park Cemetery after passing through Yeongnak Park.
