Musical actor Cha Gang-seok candidly expressed his thoughts on the impeachment decision of former President Yoon Seok-yeol.
On the 4th, he stated on his SNS regarding the Constitutional Court's ruling, "I will not yield to anti-national forces and communists. I will go all the way. Do not fear the thorny path," in a strong tone.
In another post, he mentioned, "I am on my way to plant trees. Even if the world collapses, I will continue to do what I must," and added, "Half of the country is conservative, and half is progressive, but those who think they are absolutely right and cannot even try to understand differences can live that way for their whole lives. I respect that."
Furthermore, he emphasized his anti-communist stance by stating, "Until the day all anti-national forces and communists disappear. Down with communism."
Earlier, the Constitutional Court unanimously ruled at 11:22 AM that the impeachment of former President Yoon Seok-yeol was valid. As a result, former President Yoon immediately lost his presidential position.
Cha Gang-seok had previously supported former President Yoon's declaration of a state of emergency last December. At that time, he stirred controversy by stating on SNS, "There are too many spies. I welcome the state of emergency. Please catch all the spies and execute them." He later received a notice of dismissal and admitted, "What I said may have hurt someone, and that is my fault."
Cha Gang-seok has been active primarily in musicals and performances.
