Kim Yoon-ah, the vocalist of the group Jaurim, visited the hospital due to deteriorating health.
On the 5th, Kim Yoon-ah wrote on her account, "April 4, 2025, was Battery Day, and my blood pressure was at an all-time low (80/50, am I a zombie?), lying down unable to open my eyes, I heard someone in the hospital say 'it's done' from far away."
She continued, "Whether it's the aftermath of treatment or the effects of low blood pressure, or a blessing of relief, I had a 21-hour relay sleep for two days. I am finally a bit more awake. In any case, living a normal life is not something to be taken for granted, but rather precious," adding, "Now I can work on songs and promote performances," expressing her relief at recovering.
Additionally, she mentioned, "I can freely talk about my cat, and about Andre who is currently begging for tomatoes, as well as stories about Pikmin and the King Eye. I just want to say anything."
Previously, Kim Yoon-ah confessed about her struggles with brain nerve paralysis after creating Jaurim's 8th regular album in 2011.
At that time, Kim Yoon-ah stated, "I am a congenital immunodeficient, so I still receive treatment every month. Brain nerve paralysis has affected my sense of smell, taste, hearing, pain, temperature, and all the muscles from my face to my upper body and vagus nerve, causing problems." She added, "Even now, I still have some functions that haven't fully returned due to the aftereffects of paralysis. I also have vocal cord issues, which I am suppressing with strength," leaving those around her feeling sympathetic.
