Family medicine specialist and entrepreneur Esther Yoo has been captivated by her daughter-in-law, a medical school junior.
On the 4th, Esther Yoo released a video on her YouTube channel featuring her daughter-in-law. In the video, she expressed, “Our daughter-in-law is the ideal type for mothers-in-law. She is so different from me,” showing her deep affection.
She mentioned that she usually does not cook, saying, “She is really so different from me. She loves cooking and has been saying since before marriage that she wants to take care of her husband’s home-cooked meals,” and added, “My son is a delivery app expert, but thanks to my daughter-in-law, he now eats home-cooked meals more often.”
Esther Yoo stated, “When my daughter-in-law cooks, even if my son offers to do the dishes, she tells him to ‘sit down’ and doesn’t let him. At this point, she is truly the ideal type that mothers-in-law dream of,” and praised her, saying, “In our house, we don’t have ancestral rites, and I’ve never made my daughter-in-law do kitchen work. Yet, she often moves me by voluntarily making brownies and bringing them.”
When her daughter-in-law appeared, she explained the reason for the invitation, saying, “Recently, I received a clothing gift from my daughter-in-law, but I felt bad about returning it for a refund. This is a gathering to ease that feeling.”

Meanwhile, Esther Yoo is currently running a health supplement business and is a prominent female CEO and broadcaster who has achieved annual sales of over 300 billion won through her brand.
Her daughter-in-law is a family medicine major at Seoul National University, known to be 30 years her junior. Esther Yoo previously revealed on her channel that “her daughter-in-law is the daughter of her husband Hong Hye-gul’s college classmate, and her in-laws are a family of doctors.”
