The works judged for this year's Baeksang Arts Awards are content provided on terrestrial, general programming, cable, and OTT from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, as well as Korean feature films released and plays performed during the same period. The entertainment category in the broadcasting section includes content provided on the web. Before selecting nominees for each category, a preliminary survey was conducted with 60 professional evaluators, and the nominees and winners are determined through strict judging by a panel of experts representing broadcasting, film, and theater.
The '61st Baeksang Arts Awards with Gucci', the only comprehensive arts awards ceremony in Korea covering broadcasting, film, and theater, will be held on May 5 at 8 PM at COEX D Hall in Gangnam, Seoul. The Italian luxury brand Gucci has participated as a partner for three consecutive years, and the event will be broadcast live simultaneously on JTBC, JTBC2, and JTBC4.
