Singer BoA, who became embroiled in controversy due to careless remarks during a live broadcast with broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo, posted an apology two days later.

On the 7th, BoA expressed her regret through the fan community Weverse, stating, "I apologize to everyone who felt uncomfortable with my careless words and immature behavior shown during the SNS live on the 5th."

BoA added, "I expressed my apologies to Park Na-rae for making inappropriate remarks in a situation where the person involved was not present," and thanked everyone for their understanding.

She continued, "I also feel sorry for disappointing my fans who have supported and loved me for a long time," and added, "I will take this incident as an opportunity to reflect on myself once again and strive to show a mature side, remembering the weight of my words and actions."

On the 5th, Jeon Hyun-moo conducted a live broadcast on his SNS. He mentioned, "Someone kept telling me to do a live, so here I am. I'm drinking with someone who came to visit and brought some cherished alcohol."

BoA made a surprise appearance, and the two began interacting with fans in a somewhat tipsy state. They had a casual conversation, and BoA even engaged in physical contact, leaning on Jeon Hyun-moo's shoulder and touching his face during the broadcast.

The problematic remark arose when a netizen asked Jeon Hyun-moo about the rumors of his relationship with Park Na-rae. When the netizen asked, "Are you dating Park Na-rae?" BoA responded before Jeon Hyun-moo, saying, "I don't think so. Oppa (Jeon Hyun-moo) is too good for her."

This scene quickly spread across various SNS and online communities, leading netizens to criticize BoA, stating, "Her remarks were rude." After remaining silent, BoA posted an apology two days after the live broadcast and bowed her head.

Since her debut in 2000, BoA has released numerous hit songs such as "No. 1," "My Name," "Atlantis Princess," "Girls on Top," and "Only One," and is regarded as a role model for younger artists. As she vowed in her apology, I hope she remembers the weight of her words.
