Woo Hye-rim of the group Wonder Girls reported a case of direct transaction fraud to the police.

On the 9th, Woo Hye-rim posted a photo of the Mapo Police Station building on her SNS with the caption "I will catch them." She also revealed a temporary receipt from the police. The receipt that Woo Hye-rim shared states "Crime Type: Direct Transaction Fraud." The amount of damage has not been disclosed.

The receipt includes a note stating, "Your complaint has been confirmed as a multi-victim case," suggesting that there are other victims besides Woo Hye-rim.

Woo Hye-rim previously revealed on her SNS on the 25th of last month that she was scammed while trying to make an online transaction. At that time, she advised, "I saw on the news that there are many cases like mine. If they ask you to contact them via KakaoTalk when purchasing online, or send an external link for payment, or say that you need to resend a fee of 1,000 won because it wasn't sent, it's a scam. Be careful."

The item Woo Hye-rim was scammed for was children's books. She expressed her anger, saying, "Don't exploit the hearts of mothers like this."

Woo Hye-rim married taekwondo athlete Shin Min-cheol, whom she dated for seven years, in 2020. She gave birth to her first son in 2022 and welcomed her second son in December of last year.
