Actress Son Dam-bi has become a mother after three years of marriage.
On the 11th, a representative from Son Dam-bi's side stated, "She gave birth to a daughter today," adding, "Both the mother and baby are in good health."
After marrying former speed skater Lee Gyu-hyuk in 2022, she announced her pregnancy last September following two rounds of IVF treatments. Since then, she has been sharing her pregnancy journey and daily life through YouTube.
Recently, just days before giving birth, she expressed her excitement about becoming a mother, saying, "They say the golden period has passed, but right now is the golden period for me," and added, "While it may not be a golden period in terms of work, for woman Son Dam-bi, this is my prime time."
The moments of Son Dam-bi's childbirth and her emotional meeting with her precious child will be broadcasted through the new TV CHOSUN variety show 'Our Baby Has Arrived,' which is set to premiere in May.
