Nana, an actress from the group After School, has criticized the attitude controversy surrounding The Boyz's Sunwoo.
Recently, a video that sparked controversy over The Boyz member Sunwoo's attitude was released on an online community.
In the video, Sunwoo is seen walking towards an elevator when he drops his AirPods. As he boards the elevator, he shouts, "My AirPods!" and a security guard immediately runs to pick them up and hands them to him. Although the guard offered them with both hands, Sunwoo received them with one hand.
After the video was released, netizens pointed out that Sunwoo, despite dropping his belongings, did not pick them up himself and only shouted "My AirPods," waiting for the security guard to retrieve them. They also criticized him for receiving them with one hand and not expressing gratitude. Nana also commented on the video, saying, "He needs to be scolded."
In response to the controversy, Sunwoo recently shared his thoughts through a fan communication platform. He acknowledged that the video could be seen as problematic, stating, "Everyone is talking about the AirPods, so I looked for the video. But it really looks like I received them rudely without even saying hello." He explained, "At that moment, a fan shouted something. I was confused and didn't even know what had fallen, and then I realized it was the AirPods. So I was looking for them with my eyes and received the AirPods that were handed to me. I was in a situation where I didn't bow my head and said 'thank you'."
He added, "I can't explain everything forever, but I also have a fault for making it look that way," and promised, "I will behave well so that such unfair stories do not arise again."
