Singer Ailee revealed that she and her fiancé Choi Si-hoon have decided to manage their finances separately.
On the 10th, Ailee appeared as a guest on Kim Jae-joong's YouTube channel ‘Friend of the Rich’.
When asked about her relationship with Choi Si-hoon, Ailee said, “I had plans with a friend, and my friend asked if they could bring someone along. That’s how I met him through a friend’s introduction.”
She continued, after dating for about a year and a half, she is getting married to Choi Si-hoon, who is three years younger, and confessed, “In the early stages of our relationship, I had a feeling like ‘I think I might marry this person.’”
Ailee described Choi Si-hoon as “younger than me but feels like an older brother. At first, I thought he was just a flashy guy from Apgujeong, but the more we talked, the more I realized he is very warm and upright,” expressing her affection.
When Kim Jae-joong asked who proposed, Ailee replied, “We started dating with the intention of marriage because we seemed to match well.”
When asked who manages their finances, Ailee said, “We decided to do it separately. Your money is your money, my money is my money.”
Kim Jae-joong asked, “What do you do when you need to buy something for the house?” and Ailee responded, “We buy what we need,” adding, “We don’t fuss too much about it.” She also revealed that the title of their newlywed house is in joint names.
Having completed their marriage registration last August, Ailee will hold her wedding with former actor and businessman Choi Si-hoon on the 20th.
