Singer Wooz has been embroiled in rumors that he dated the late Kim Sae-ron in the past.
A representative from Wooz's agency, Idam Entertainment, stated on the 12th to Maeil Economic Star Today regarding the dating rumors with Kim Sae-ron, "We ask for your understanding as we cannot confirm personal matters."
Previously, an entertainment insider claimed that Kim Sae-ron dated singer A from early 2021 until May 2022. Following this, claims emerged on online communities and social media that A was Wooz. They presented evidence such as Kim Sae-ron sending a coffee truck anonymously to Wooz's music video set.
Recently, as controversies surrounding actor Kim Soo-hyun and the late Kim Sae-ron continue, the spotlight has also turned to Wooz, who is currently serving in the military.
Earlier, the family of the late Kim Sae-ron claimed through the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute that Kim Sae-ron dated Kim Soo-hyun for six years from November 19, 2015, when she was in the third year of middle school, until July 7, 2021, and that after leaving her agency, she was psychologically pressured by a debt repayment notice of 700 million won from Gold Medalist.
In response, Kim Soo-hyun held a press conference on the 31st of last month, expressing his frustration, stating, "It is true that I was in a relationship with the deceased, but we never dated during her minor years, nor did I ever exert financial pressure." He added, "I will reveal the truth through various materials with the investigative authorities," shedding tears.
Kim Soo-hyun has filed a lawsuit against the family of the late Kim Sae-ron and the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute for violations of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, among other charges, and is seeking 11 billion won in damages.
