Broadcaster Noh Hong-chul explained the reason for creating a coffin room in his newly renovated 'Hongchul Book Bakery'.
On the 12th, Noh Hong-chul revealed the interior of the newly renovated bookstore on his YouTube channel 'Noh Hong-chul'.
In the video, Noh Hong-chul introduced the coffin room, saying, "Now that I am 47 years old, I hear a lot of obituaries these days," and added, "When I hear such news while traveling, I think a lot about 'how to live', but I also ponder 'how to die' and 'how I will wrap things up'."
He explained, "In your 20s and 30s, you don't think about such things, do you? Now, think about it casually while having brownies on the table. Whether it's death or life, today, tomorrow, or yesterday."
Noh Hong-chul also introduced the coffin placed on the floor, saying, "I sometimes lie down here, and the lid (of the coffin) opens. It's all really made. I don't know when I will die," he joked.
Noh Hong-chul lay down in the coffin and asked to look at the ceiling. On the ceiling were written 'The Three Saddest Things in the World', 'I Could Have', 'I Should Have', and 'I Must Have'. He said, "I can reflect on my future, today, and everything from yesterday."
Noh Hong-chul, who operates a book cafe and bakery 'Hongchul Book Bakery', recently opened a YouTube channel named after himself to communicate with fans. He is currently appearing on ENA's Saturday entertainment show 'Earth Monopoly World Travel 3'.
