‘Sundol-i’ Lee Geon-joo faces the truth about his mother after 44 years and is shocked.

In the episode of TV Chosun’s ‘Dad and Me’ airing on the 15th, Lee Geon-joo embarks on a journey to find his mother for the first time in 44 years.

Currently living as a shaman, he was separated from his parents at the age of 2 and was raised by his grandmother and aunts, unlike the glamorous image he portrays on TV. He has been estranged from his father for 10 years and knows neither his mother’s name nor her face.

Having revealed his unfortunate family history, which has garnered sympathy from many, he shares that participating in ‘Dad and Me’ has solidified his desire to see his mother. However, the only clue he has about her is the ‘childhood name’ remembered by the aunt who raised him.

While searching for a way, Lee Geon-joo decides to visit the community center to obtain a family relationship certificate. However, his expression suddenly hardens as he receives the documents with a trembling and nervous heart. He confesses, “My mind went blank. I don’t know if it’s because I’m a shaman, but what I thought was right,” expressing his confusion.

Lee Geon-joo reveals that he had a chance to meet his mother 15 years ago through a morning broadcast. However, he turned away after a heart-wrenching comment from his mother, and thus, 15 years have passed. Will the long-awaited meeting between Lee Geon-joo and his mother finally take place after 44 years?
