Comedian Paeng Hyun-sook praised ‘restaurant owner’ Lee Bong-won.
On the 17th, the press conference for JTBC's entertainment program ‘Showdown! Paeng Bong Paeng Bong’ was held at Stanford Hotel Korea in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Attendees included Choi Yang-rak, Lee Bong-won, Paeng Hyun-sook, Lee Eun-ji, Yoo Seung-ho, Kwak Dong-yeon, PD Lee Jin-joo, and PD Shin Hye-won.
‘Showdown! Paeng Bong Paeng Bong’, which will premiere on the 19th at 7:10 PM, is a reality entertainment show where comedian Lee Bong-won, who is deeply invested in the restaurant business, and Paeng Hyun-sook compete by opening two restaurants side by side on a small island abroad.
The competition will feature Lee Bong-won, who currently runs a jjambbong restaurant, and Paeng Hyun-sook, who operates a sundae soup restaurant. The couple Paeng Hyun-sook and Choi Yang-rak appeared together, while Lee Bong-won appeared alone. Was it more advantageous for couples to appear together?
Paeng Hyun-sook said, “It’s definitely an advantage,” adding, “Choi Yang-rak used to not help much, but these days he helps a lot.”
She continued, “Lee Bong-won must have felt very lonely. Park Mi-sun will also appear in the first episode. We promised to appear together next time as a group of four.”
Paeng Hyun-sook also expressed, “I was really surprised by Lee Bong-won; he is so cool. He cooks well and handles his tasks efficiently. I thought I would have been happier if Lee Bong-won were my husband. He was really impressive,” and added, “It’s been 40 years since we last worked together, and seeing him work hard made me think he is really wonderful and charming.”
‘Showdown! Paeng Bong Paeng Bong’ will premiere on the 19th at 7:10 PM.
