Actress Jin Seo-yeon recalled her difficult past when she even considered retirement.

In the episode of Channel A's entertainment program 'Close Friends Documentary - Four-Person Table' (hereafter 'Four-Person Table') that aired on the 21st, a preview showed Jin Seo-yeon inviting her close friends, actress Sooyoung (Girls' Generation) and Um Moon-seok, to talk together.

During the broadcast, Jin Seo-yeon stated, "For the first time, the Four-Person Table will be held as a Three-Person Table," adding, "Close friend Ryu Seung-soo could not attend due to health issues." They became connected through the OCN drama 'Tell Me What You Saw' and continued their conversation on the topic of 'acting.'

On that day, Jin Seo-yeon opened up about her past hardships. She mentioned that she had never publicly spoken about it as it was a personal matter, and she cautiously began to share her story.

Jin Seo-yeon revealed, "I shot 12 commercials but did not receive any payment. The company went bankrupt, and I didn't receive a single penny," adding, "This happened three times," and confessed, "In my heart, I thought, 'Should I retire now?'" which drew attention.

The episode featuring Jin Seo-yeon will be released on the 28th. 'Four-Person Table' is a program where stars and their close friends meet to share life stories. It airs every Monday at 8:10 PM.

Jin Seo-yeon made her debut in 2007 with the film 'Eve's Temptation - Good Wife.' After spending a long period in obscurity, she began to gain attention as a scene-stealer in the 2018 film 'Drug King,' where she played the role of 'Boryeong,' the partner of the late Kim Joo-hyuk. Her most recent work is the film 'It's Okay, It's Okay, It's Okay,' which was released in February. The last drama she appeared in was the ENA drama 'Happiness Battle' in 2023.
