Actress Lee Young-ae (54) showcased her unwavering marital affection with her 21-year-older husband.
On the 24th, a video titled 'The Humanization of Elegance: What Does Lee Young-ae Sound Like When She's Really Angry? (First Public Reveal of Itaewon House)' was released on the YouTube channel 'Study King Jin Genius Hong Jin-kyung'.
In the video, Lee Young-ae said, "It's been a long time since I got married. After marrying in 2009, I took a break for a while and focused on raising my children in Yangpyeong. That was the happiest time for me."
She continued, "After turning 50, I felt I couldn't delay any longer, so I challenged myself with various roles," indicating that she also paid attention to managing her career again.
As a mother of twins, she expressed her deep affection for her children, saying, "The baby is really cute. Now I’m reminiscing and only looking at old photos. I think about those times a lot. If I were in my early 40s, I would even think about wanting to have one more child."
Her love for her husband remained strong. When Hong Jin-kyung asked, "When was the last kiss?" Lee Young-ae laughed and replied, "Every day. I did it yesterday too."
When Hong Jin-kyung expressed surprise and asked, "Not just a peck?" Lee Young-ae honestly answered, "It goes back and forth," to which Hong Jin-kyung responded, "So it starts with a peck and goes to a kiss. What a happy home," bringing laughter.
Lee Young-ae married businessman Jung Ho-young (75) in 2009, who is 21 years her senior, and gave birth to twins, a son and a daughter, two years later in 2011.
She mentioned, "Of course, we have fights as a couple," adding, "Sometimes we argue in formal language, and sometimes in informal language. We bicker over trivial things like 'Did you open the door or close it?' but we take it seriously."
Regarding the essential topic of 'weight management' for actresses, she said, "Usually, I just manage my health, and when money comes in, I think, 'Now let's do it' and start moving," laughing. She also added, "I don't stress much on a daily basis and eat everything. Instead of Botox or fillers, I get 'density' treatments. They hurt less and are more effective. When I do it lightly, I do it three times a year. It improves gradually without irritation."
Meanwhile, Lee Young-ae will return to the stage for the first time in 32 years with the play 'Hedda Gabler'. It will be performed from May 7 to June 8 at the LG Arts Center Seoul, LG Signature Hall.
