Actress Hyeri has caught illegal ticketing ahead of her first solo fan meeting.
The organizing company for Hyeri's fan meeting, Setter Stage, announced on the 24th through their official SNS, “The investigation into suspicious purchases through abnormal channels has been completed.”
They continued, “We have sent an explanation request via email to those who made reservations for the following reasons, and we hope to receive the explanation materials by April 29 at 18:00 (KST).” They added, “If there is no response by the deadline, or if the reservation was not received due to non-existent contact information or email, or if there is no valid reason for the suspicious reservation, the reservations will be automatically canceled sequentially after April 30.”

Hyeri will hold her first solo fan meeting ‘Welcome to Hyeri’s Studio’ on June 7 at Ewha Womans University Samsung Hall. All tickets for the second performance sold out within a minute of opening on the 14th.
However, during this process, suspicions of illegal ticketing by scalpers were discovered, leading to controversy. Hyeri's team warned on the 15th, “Fan meeting tickets are sold exclusively through Ticket Link, and no tickets are sold through other channels. Tickets purchased through transfers from others, personal transactions, or other methods without going through the official reservation site are non-refundable and cannot be canceled.”
Hyeri also expressed her feelings on the fan communication platform on the 16th, saying, “I was surprised and shocked as this is my first experience. At first, I was happy that it sold out in a minute, but seeing the situation, there are many people who reserved tickets through illegal channels and are reselling them. I am very upset and sorry.”
She added, “Buying tickets from someone else is absolutely prohibited,” stating, “If the person who made the reservation and the person entering the fan meeting are different, entry will not be allowed,” indicating a strong stance against scalping.
