Kim Min-hee is reported to have recovered at a postpartum care center in Hanam after giving birth to their son at an obstetrics clinic in Gyeonggi Province on April 8. After news of her pregnancy was reported in January, Kim Min-hee was spotted with Director Hong Sang-soo at Incheon Airport in February, confirming the pregnancy rumors.
Director Hong Sang-soo and Kim Min-hee became connected through the film 'Right Now, Wrong Then' (2015). Overcoming their 22-year age difference, they developed a romantic relationship and have been in an extramarital affair since 2016.
Director Hong Sang-soo married a woman of the same age, referred to as A, during his studies in the United States in 1985, and they have a daughter together.
