"More Beautiful than Heaven" Ryu Deok-hwan makes his first appearance.

In the third episode of JTBC's weekend drama "More Beautiful than Heaven" (directed by Kim Seok-yoon, written by Lee Nam-kyu and Kim Soo-jin, produced by Studio Phoenix and SLL), the first meeting between Lee Hae-sook (played by Kim Hye-ja) and the pastor (played by Ryu Deok-hwan) is anticipated. The sacred encounter between the leisurely pastor and the 80-year-old believer is expected.

The last broadcast depicted the reunion of Lee Hae-sook and Go Nak-jun (played by Son Seok-koo) after meeting again in heaven. The wife appeared as an 80-year-old, while the husband looked rejuvenated in his 30s, but a subtly cold atmosphere lingered between the two, overshadowing their expectations and excitement for the reunion.

However, the couple, who had spent 60 years together, quickly understood each other's true feelings and melted their hearts through warm hugs of apology and comfort. It seemed as if they had finally found true heaven. Yet, the mysterious woman whose identity was unknown called out Go Nak-jun's name and rushed to him, ending the episode with a hellish three-way confrontation that left viewers curious.

As Lee Hae-sook's full-fledged heavenly life begins, her visit to the Heavenly Church catches attention. In a heaven where repentance is meaningless, the "church" is the most leisurely space, and the "pastor" is one of the most idle people. A change arrives in the mundane and boring life of the Heavenly Church pastor with the arrival of "Lee Hae-sook."

Upon spotting someone approaching the church from afar, the pastor shows an excited and eager expression, waiting with bated breath. However, after learning Lee Hae-sook's identity, the pastor's reaction changes dramatically. Meanwhile, Lee Hae-sook maintains a calm smile without any disturbance, while the pastor seems to be in shock, causing laughter.

In this episode, Lee Hae-sook and Go Nak-jun face deep conflicts due to Somi (played by Han Ji-min). Lee Hae-sook declares that she will leave, saying, "I will find a life that suits me, so live as you please," expressing her frustration towards Go Nak-jun.

The production team stated, "In episode 3, the depiction of heaven, which resembles reality yet is different, continues to unfold. Among them, a new space called 'church' and a new character, the 'pastor,' will enhance the fun. Viewers can look forward to the reason why Lee Hae-sook visits the pastor of the Heavenly Church, as their meeting will inject more laughter and vitality into the drama. From their first encounter, they will showcase a delightful back-and-forth."
