On the 26th, ahead of the third episode of JTBC's weekend drama ‘More Beautiful than Heaven’ (directed by Kim Seok-yoon, written by Lee Nam-kyu and Kim Soo-jin, produced by Studio Phoenix and SLL), the production team captured the moment when Somi (played by Han Ji-min) entered the Heaven House of Lee Hae-sook (played by Kim Hye-ja) and Ko Nak-jun (played by Son Seok-koo).
The last broadcast depicted Lee Hae-sook's full-fledged adaptation to heaven. Her husband, who used to say, “You are the most beautiful now,” returned to his youthful self, forgetting everything, while Lee Hae-sook, now the only elderly person in heaven, could not hide her feelings of disappointment and resentment.
Ko Nak-jun, who had been waiting more than anyone to reunite with his wife, also felt hurt by Lee Hae-sook's unexpected reaction. However, just as they began to understand each other's true feelings, an unidentified woman appeared. In the meantime, the released photos draw attention as they hint at the cohabitation of Lee Hae-sook, Ko Nak-jun, and the unexpected guest of heaven, Somi. In a previous teaser, Somi proudly mentioned her new name given by Ko Nak-jun to Lee Hae-sook. The atmosphere between Lee Hae-sook and Ko Nak-jun, which seemed pure and innocent, is now noticeably different, even to Somi.
With her arms crossed and a cool smile, Lee Hae-sook and Ko Nak-jun, who is watching her with a silly grin, suggest an unprecedented crisis in their 60-year marriage, creating tension for the viewers.
Meanwhile, while Somi is holding her breath and observing, Ko Nak-jun pulls out his secret weapon to melt Lee Hae-sook's frozen heart. It remains to be seen whether he can restore peace to the Heaven House with his charming antics.
In the third episode airing today (26th), the ‘Heaven’s Troublemaker’ Lee Hae-sook meets the pastor (played by Ryu Deok-hwan) for the first time at a church guided by the center director (played by Cheon Ho-jin). Meanwhile, seeing Ko Nak-jun unable to send Somi away from their home, he suddenly declares, “I will find a life that suits me, so live as you please.”
The production team of ‘More Beautiful than Heaven’ stated, “Somi, who brings crisis and conflict to the couple Lee Hae-sook and Ko Nak-jun with her first appearance, reveals a mysterious presence.
